About the event
This event is closed to members of SOC and BADO. Entries are protected by a passcode which you can get from the club website. There are 60 places - 30 in the morning for SOC and 30 in the afternoon for BADO using the same courses.

Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct. Key considerations include:

Location
Parking is at Hawthorns car park. Grid reference SU415292. There is free public parking there for about 45 cars but if this is full there are other public car parks nearby. Parking will not be supervised. Please observe social distancing.
The event centre is through the gate at the bottom of the hill to the north east of the car park at grid reference SU417294. It's about 5 minutes walk from the car park.

Control descriptions are printed on the maps. There will be no loose control descriptions at the event. They have been posted on the SOC website for download if desired.

Online entry only. No entry on the day.

Timing System
EMIT Touch-free on loan from EMIT UK. Free eTag hire.

Facilities
A toilet will be available at Hawthorns car park.

Clothing and equipment
Full leg cover and footwear suitable for the terrain must be worn. Whistles must be carried. In adverse weather we may ask you to wear a cagoule or similar waterproof top. Please bring your own water or other drinks.
