Map and Terrain
Scale 1:10,000. Loose control descriptions will be at the start and on all maps.
Ashley Walk showcases a great mix of classic New Forest terrain. The area is characterised by three main areas: the northern slope provides an intricate path network, a patchwork of copses and thickets, and lots of tricky detail; the expansive moorland to the south of the area visited by longer courses has some great options for route choice; the piece of woodland in the centre of the map is really runnable in places with interesting detail making it one of the best bits of the area. It's a beautiful place to orienteer.
