Road Crossings
There are no road crossings on any of the courses. However, competitors will need to cross a minor forest road to get to the start and from the finish. Parents/ Responsibly Adults should take responsibility for their children crossing this road.
Location

Parking
Parking is at the Bramshaw Village Hall. We will have 60 free car parking spaces which may be extended if there are no other hall users on the day. Please park in marked spaces only and car share where possible. Please book your car parking space when you enter – car park check off will take place at the car park entrance.
Timing
Competitors will have access to the Village Hall car park from 10.30am. Please do not arrive before this time.

Start at any time. If you have your own SI Dibber you may go straight to the start.
The start is 100 m from the Event Centre. (Finish 400m from the Event Centre.)
Timing System
SI dibber. Hire dibbers can be collected from the event centre. Please look after your dibber as lost dibbers will be charged for at £32 (£68 for SIAC).
Map and Terrain
Scale 1:10,000, updated in winter 2022. Loose control descriptions will be at the start and on all maps.
Mixed area of old woodland, marsh, path networks and intricate landforms in some areas.
The competition area is dominated by a ridge which runs in a NW/SE direction. The area, in places, is quite technical requiring accurate navigation but also offers some good forest
running.

Clothing and equipment new
Full leg cover and footwear suitable for the terrain must be worn. Trail/orienteering shoes or sturdy walking boots are recommended.
All competitors must carry a whistle.
In case of adverse weather we may require competitors to wear a cagoule or similar waterproof top.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the hall but are welcome in the car park and grounds.
