Event Information
Before the course opens at the start of the month, you will be sent a PIN code to unlock the event in the MapRun app, along with a link to a PDF copy of the map for you to print out. You can then take part at any point during that month, or join us on the allotted Thursday for a 7 pm mass start, followed by a social in the pub.
There are six events in the league with your best four scores to count (100 points for the winner, 99 points for second place, etc.).
The format is a 45-minute score event, so you choose your route (and how far you go!). Rather than kites at each control, there is a free mobile (or Garmin/Apple Watch) app to tell you when you are in the right place and record your time. See the MapRun website for more details.
