MapRunPlus - a new venture - score events for all using simple orienteering maps
Claro Orienteering Club present a new type of event - MapRunPlus - a score event using a simple orienteering map or an Ordnance Survey map and the MapRun app downloaded to your smartphone or sports watch..
Choose the length of your course - 60 mins, 90 mins or 120 mins.
Take part on your own, in pairs or family groups. Please note that as the areas use streets and roads under 16's must be part of a family group or paired with an adult over 16.
We meet at St Leonard’s Hall, Station Lane, Burton Leonard, HG3 3DG.
These events are ideal for beginners and experienced orienteers alike. Help is always available before the start for newcomers, either to orienteering or using the app.
