This is a Local Maprun event with Orange, Green and Brown courses on some of the most technical moorland areas of Dartmoor. Like a proper event without the flags
Not suitable for beginners as heading into the moor with quite a high technical and physical element.. One of the most challenging areas in Devon.
To suit more abilities we have Orange, Green and Brown courses. Green and brown are technically challenging where you will need to be able to navigate accurately to a specific pit or rock. The orange is less tricky but you still need to be able to navigate well.
Course lengths shown below are calculated in a straight line. You will run further !
Orange 3.5km 140m climb
Entered: 0
Comparatively straightforward, suitable for less experienced adults and juniors. Similar to Orange standard but no flags to see.
Green 3.9km 160m climb
Entered: 0
Technically difficult but less of the rough terrain.
Brown 6.6km 210m climb
Entered: 0
Technically difficult and physically challenging.
Junior: £4.00
Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.All entries through racesignup and no entry on the day

A quick reminder for newcomers: If you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance for this event. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
