Families and other groups are welcome. Only one person needs to enter. Includes one copy of the map which you keep afterwards. Add the number in the group to the surname e.g. For Adam Smith and two others, the Surname will be Smith +2. This is so we know how many will be participating.

The course for Newham residents is £5 for Seniors for each event at all entry times up to the closing date.

There is no charge for pupils at Royal Docks Academy and Beal High schools participating in the Beckton event or for pupils at Star Lane Primary school participating in the Canning Town event but you must enter the event using racesignup.co.uk in advance of the day.

We expect most people will choose to come by public transport as the transport links are excellent and the event centres are both very close to a Docklands Light Railway station.

A parking space can be booked for the Beckton event (no charge but numbers are limited to 100). Parking for the Canning Town event is on residential streets at no cost but is very limited.
Event Information
We invite you to enter our urban events in East London. The Beckton event forms part of the UK Urban League for 2026.

Both areas are essentially flat. There are very few contours even at the 2m contour interval and no height gain is shown on the maps.
