East Pennine Orienteering Club's Calderdale Hub are excited to invite you to the 2nd of our Moving with a Map Spring/ Summer series of 4 local, high quality events. We are returning to Long Wood and Scarr Wood local nature reserves, last used in 1991, with a brand new map!

There will be an easy course, and a technical course with short or long variations for you to choose from on the day. The event centre is the outdoor pavilion of the Standard of Freedom 2 New Lane, Halifax HX3 0TE.
Starts from 6 - 7 are a short walk from the pub, with time to socialise afterwards. You can even try the pub's regular Quiz Night!

We would like to encourage new and developing navigators as well as experienced Orienteers.
Help and advice with navigation freely given.
Timing dibber hire available.

Technical: Short or long options - your choice on the day
The Technical course will cover the whole woodland slope. There will be a long and short version. You can choose which to do on the day.

Easy and short: ideal for beginners with less experience
The Easy/Short course is designed for beginners and juniors. Once at the start there will be no road crossings on this course.

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.
