East Pennine Orienteering Club are excited to invite you to our traditional Christmas event in the 2025/ 26 YHOA night league, at the beautiful Oakwell Hall .
Starts 5pm -6pm. We'll have an indoor base, adjacent to parking, with hot drinks etc to purchase from the Miss Molly Moo cafe. Please stay and socialise.
If you'd like to try Night Orienteering for the first time you will need a good headtorch, and we suggest you enter one of the shorter courses.
Help and advice with navigation freely given. Timing dibber hire available.
YHOA Night League course/ age group combinations should be used when you enter if you want this to be a counter for your series score. See - https://www.yhoa.org.uk/yhoa-night-league/
For a great day out, there is also the Cragg Vale 90mins Christmas Score event being held on the Saturday morning. For details see separate Race Signup fixture.

Oakwell Hall country park has a mix of woods and parkland, with an extensive path network and some steeper slopes. At the centre is the Grade 1 Listed Elizabethan Manor House and formal gardens. The area is relatively sheltered, but still dress for cold winter weather.
