Training at Norbury Park
Guildford (GO) and Mole Valley (MV) Orienteering Clubs have teamed up to offer training and coaching for novice and less experienced orienteers. Our joint GO/MV training activities are small, friendly events aimed at beginners and at orienteers who want to improve their skills.
This next activity is on Saturday 23 November from 12pm to 2pm.
Please register here to reserve your place. Let us know your level of experience - Beginner or Improver.
Attendance is free to members of GO and MV. For anyone not lucky enough to be a member of either of our clubs we ask for £4 towards the cost of maps and land permission.
If you are coming as a bystander and/or to watch over your young charges and you are willing to help, please register as a Helper (for free).
Entries can be registered (and amended) until midday on the day of the activity. Withdrawals online until 8pm the night before.

Event Information
We are keeping a careful eye on the weather as Storm Bert has been threatening to spoil our plans.
As of today, there is no weather warning for where we will be and it is forecast as windy with rain showers and warmer than of late. So not pleasant but not terrible. We will therefore go ahead with the event but please, please come wearing lots of layers particularly a waterproof coat with a hood. Remember we are training not racing so you will not be going fast so will chill down more quickly.
Also to note, there are no toilets provided.
Keep an eye on your emails as this is how we will communicate if the situation changes and we have to cancel. Similarly if you have entered and decide not to come please could you let us know.
