Find out more about orienteering, by the Guildford Spectrum

Organised by Guildford Orienteers, this is a small family-friendly activity and an opportunity for anybody (all ages, any level of (in-)experience) to learn about orienteering - the art/sport of navigating precisely using map and compass. Our Club volunteers will be on hand to help you learn the ropes - how to read the maps and use them efficiently to navigate around an orienteering course.

We hope you will become as enthused as we are about this sport!

The event takes place at Stoke Park (north) and the adjoining Riverside wildlife area (with permission from Guildford Borough Council) on Saturday 3rd October between 12 noon and 2pm.

Enter in advance using the Racesignup online entry system (on this page) or come along on the day and we'll fit you in! There is a small charge to help us cover the costs of land permission and special map printing. (You will need to register for an account with Racesignup to use their online entry system.)
