KNC4: Leybourne Lakes and Larkfield mixed country park and urban score event using MapRun.

Registration in advance and online only. Apres-O will be at the Bricklayers Arms, 440 New Hythe Lane, Aylesford ME20 6SA. There is in-house Indian dining called the Spice House. Orders can be taken in the pub after the event. View the Menu.

Location

Mass start at 19.30 but be ready to leave for the walk to the start at 19:20.

60 minute score event with 22 controls in two sets 1x's and 2x's. Visit as many of the controls in any one set in any order before changing at any point to the other set. No return to the first set after changing sets.

Control values are 10 points for 1x's and 2x's and 20 points for controls 120 (in the 1x set) and 220 (in the 2x set), with 10 points deducted for each minute or part minute you are late back.

We will be using MapRun for control validation at this event. You will need to have downloaded MapRun to your phone or gps watch prior to the event. The finish will be a standard SI/SIAC punching finish (not contactless).

BOF Seniors £6, Non-BOF Senior £8 and Juniors £3. SI dibber hire £1. SIAC dibber hire £2.50.

Insurance advice from British Orienteering. Under 16's may take part in this event non-competitively provided they are accompanied by an adult at all times and the adult assumes full responsibility for them. Neither the junior nor the accompanying adult will be eligible for KNC league points.
