Terrain and Out of Bounds
Terrain is generally runnable forest with forest paths and rides. The area contains fenced inclosures and streams which are steep-sided stream in places.
Fences are all plain wire and best crossed by going through between wires rather than climbing over to avoid damage to fences or yourself. Gates are also available and the Short Green course has been planned so that gates are at hand when entering or exiting the fenced inclosure on a direct route.

All courses except Short Green and Brown are likely to encounter a wooden barrier which has been installed across an old gateway when exiting the inclosure near the end of your course. This can best be crossed by going through the thinner wooden rails to the right.

Courses have been planned to avoid the steepest sided parts of streams and there are alternative easier crossing points nearby if you encounter a section that looks too challenging for you to cross confidently.

The New Forest Code
All participants should make themselves aware of and comply with The New Forest Code.

Bio-security
Please come to the event with clean and dry shoes and clothing. After your run please follow the guidance that helps us protect our precious environment: Check - Clean - Dry.

We are sorry but no dogs are allowed in the competition area.
Dogs should be kept under control and on a lead in the car park and when necessary.
