A round of the KNC in East Sussex, but near to the Kent border. Don’t be put off by the fact that Mardens Hill is in The Ashdown Forest as this part is less muddy than other areas. Mixed open heathland with some woodland mostly deciduous. Some new areas to make this interesting for those who have been to Mardens Hill before. Yes, as the name suggests there is a hill.
