Ready for a new adventure? If you enjoy a challenge and love the outdoors, orienteering is for you!
Perfect for families, small groups and individuals, our newcomer events are a fun and friendly way to discover orienteering. There are two courses of differing length to choose from, you can try one — or challenge yourself to complete both!
Never tried orienteering before? No problem! Friendly volunteers will be on hand to explain how it works, offer helpful tips and answer any questions you may have.
Using an accurate, clear and easy to follow map, you’ll navigate your way around the course at your own pace, finding control markers along the way.
Whether you’re looking for a new outdoor challenge, a fun family activity or simply a chance to try something different, come along and release your spirit of adventure!

Family and friends group price - for up to 5 navigating the park together.
(Schools, scout groups and similar, who have not entered before, should contact the organiser.)

Courses
Two courses are available - visit control points in a set order at your own pace.
One course is 1-1.5 km and the other 2-2.5 km.
Do one or both for the same entry fee!
