MDOC - Summer Sale Sprint Showdown

MDOC presents a special MapRun orienteering event featuring three short sprint courses with a scoring system designed to provide every participant with a chance of winning.
Pay once and run 1, 2 or 3 courses. Choose on the day.
• Assembly/Parking: Tree Tops Café, Cow Lane, Sale M33 2LX (W3W: bike.windy.heap)
• Public Transport: Metro to Sale Water Park
• Start Times: 10:00am–2:15pm
• Date: Saturday, 9 August
• Showdown Open: 10:00am–3:00pm
Competitors may run one, two or three courses in any order. Each course (A, B, C) is approx. 3km. There is plenty of time to run and refresh.
Current BOF ranking points will be used to calculate a factor for each competitor which once applied to the results will give everyone an equal chance to win.
There will be seven prizes consisting of the fastest overall factored aggregate (A,B &C), best pair combination (A&B, A&C, B&C), and individual course winners—with no more than one prize per person.
With its inclusive scoring system and unique prizes, and the option to run 3, 6 or 9km, the Summer Sale Sprint Showdown promises an exciting day for all.
PS Anyone without a BOF ranking is welcome too. There is a cunning plan….
