The Rushall Wood area is mixed commercial woodland interspersed with open areas and a few dwellings. The Westernmost area is runnable sloping woodland changing to slow run at the southern end. The central area is generally runnable with several re-entrants and open areas. The eastern area is flatter with several areas of recent tree felling which is still taking place at the very eastern extremity. Throughout the area are several significant expanses of undergrowth which are best avoided
