Location
This year we have the use of the Bramshaw Village Hall small committee room which is accessed by going around the right of the main hall. The entrance to the committee room is then on your left had side.
As this is a popular area for orienteering we would like to maximise the number of people able to take part in the event, despite parking limited to 50 spaces due to sharing the hall with another group.
Please help us to do this by opting for one of the following:
-Share your car with family or friends who are also competing.
-use the car share function on racesignup to find someone to give a lift to or to get a lift from.
-Park in a nearby car park and walk to the Bramshaw Village Hall.
On the entry form you will be asked to state whether you are a driver or a passenger in a car. There are only 50 parking spaces available and our car park attendant will check drivers in at the gate. Please park in the area to the right of the hall.

Road Crossings
The Blue and Green courses cross a relatively quiet forest road. However please look out for cars and bicycles coming down the slight incline. Under 14s on these courses must run with or be shadowed by an adult.
The Short Green course crosses a private driveway and is suitable for experienced Juniors without an accompanying adult.
All competitors should take great care crossing these roads.
Map and Terrain
1:10,000 map on A4 waterproof paper, 5m contours.
Mixed area of runnable woodland, open heathland, path network, with intricate landforms in some parts. Many branch hides of various shapes and sizes have appeared but most are not mapped. The bracken remains high in some places, particularly on South facing slopes. The ground is particularly dry, making water/marsh features appear less distinct. Some large trees have fallen across paths however these are passable via smaller paths found to the side (or by climbing over.)
The Short Green course has an advised stream crossing point which will be marked with red and white tape. Competitors on the Blue course should be aware that some of the controls are close to the map border.
