Event Information

For full details please see DFOK Event Details page www.dfok.co.uk
You must not attend if you or a member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace.

You must adhere to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

Event centre
The event centre including Download is at the Hook and Hatchet in Hucking ME17 1QT; TQ837582; w3w shredder.grow.scrub. The start and finish are within 100m of the event centre. Parking is in a field nearby; follow the orienteering signs.

Refreshments and toilets are available.

Please make every reasonable effort to arrive at the event in time for your allocated start window

Electronic punching
Electronic punching will be used and the controls will be activated for contactless punching for those who have their own contactless SI card. Hired dibbers will be non-contactless.

There are several fairly low fences in the area (hence marked with a single dashed fence symbol). Most are difficult to cross and so using the gates or other routes should be considered.

Control descriptions
Control descriptions are printed on the map. For those who prefer to also have loose control descriptions to save opening and refolding the map, these will be available online as a pdf from the front event page of the DFOK website but will not be available at the event.

Finish and Download
It is a Punching Finish. After finishing, please proceed directly to Download. Download will largely be by the competitor, with assistance provided. Your splits print out will be handed to you. Hired SI dibbers should then be deposited in a pink container nearby.

Acknowledgements
We are grateful to the Woodland Trust for permission to use the area and to management at the Hook and Hatchet for allowing us to park and use their facilities.
