Foots Cray and Bexley

An interesting mixture of controls in the Meadows and in the surrounding urban area using an orienteering map, simplified in the urban area

Registration in advance and online only.

Start Times: 19.30hrs to 19:45hrs in 20 second intervals. 60 minute score event with 20 controls each worth 10 points. Visit the controls in any order. 10 points per control visited. 10 extra points for visiting two controls consecutively with the same end digit e.g. 61, 71 or vice versa. Penalty for being back late 10 points per minute, or part minute, over the 60 minute time allowance.

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.

If you enter as a group, only one entry is needed but please add +1,2 etc to the surname so we know how many will be in each group. Enter as a Group at the Senior fee rate if there is an adult in the group

Anyone under age 16 at the date of the event must be accompanied at all times during this event; enter as a Group Participating Together.

You must not attend if you or a member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace or if you are required to quarantine after overseas travel.

You must adhere to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

You should make every reasonable effort to arrive at the event in time for your allocated start time.

At the start and during your run please remember to social distance. Please move away from the map box after collecting your map. At control sites do not touch the control, and move through quickly. Do not congregate at the finish.

Results will not be on display at the event but you can access them on the DFOK website after the event
