KOL9 Brockhill Park & Hythe

Saturday 14th May

Brockhill Country Park is dominated by a large grassy valley bisected by the Brockhill Stream. Brockhill's lake, woods, meadows, picnic and play areas – along with the excellent Brockhill Café – make it a great spot for a day out. The park is also rich in wildlife, including marbled white butterflies, green woodpeckers and carpets of snowdrops.

The longer Blue course will also venture out into Hythe residential streets and footpaths, so no under 16's permitted on this course.
This is event 9 of the Kent Orienteering League. If you like a bit of healthy outdoor exercise and enjoy exploring the Kent countryside, come along to find the controls (checkpoints) using the specially prepared map. There are different courses to suit different experience levels.

Online advance registration only. Starts 11.00-12.30. Courses Close 2pm.

Whilst entries are open to 13th May, if you plan to come, please try to enter by 8th May to help us forecast required map numbers!

After the event - it's not far from the beach. A good place to relax if the weather is kind.
