Car Parking
Car parking is on hard standing in a farm yard - with grateful thanks to Rupert Pelly, the farmer. (We lost the parking at the One School Global site)
However, head for the school at Post Code: SP2 0J GR SU 084323 (OS Landranger 184). Then carry on past this for about 1km, following Hollows lane up the road and onto a rough track until you reach the farm yard on the left hand side. Parking will be tight so please car share if you can. No exit from the Car park until after 12.15 , please, due to the narrow road.
The Start is 800 metres up from the farm - please allow time for this. The Finish is about 300m from the Start and Download. The board for keys will be by the toilet.

Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.
Acting as an ambassador of the sport of orienteering at all times and considering how your actions may appear in the eyes of landowners or members of the public; this is a popular walking area from the local villages.
Observing social distancing at all times; leave after your race, once you have Downloaded and received your splits.
Use your own hand sanitizer on arrival and departure. There will be sanitizer by the Toilet to use.
Times
Starts from 11.00 - 13.00. Allow at least 10 -15 minutes to walk from the Car Park.
Starts times are in 15 minute blocks to avoid crowding but it is a punching Start
Course closes: 14.30pm
Control collectors - please gel hands and come to the Planner near the Download tent at about 14.15, please.
Facilities
One toilet will be available + gel to use, in the Car park; Limited First Aid only by Download - be prepared to self administer. No Refreshments or water at the event, so please bring your own. Clothing dump also by Download
Safety
The approach to the Car Park is very narrow. We would prefer cars not to leave until all runners have arrived - about 12.15.
The return to the Car park is by the same route - after Downloading
Dogs
Dogs are allowed under control in the Car Park; suggest they are kept on leads due to the tight parking conditions.
Other users of the wood
The area has many walkers and cyclists using the wood; also horses use the bridle way. Please take care near all of these.
Timing System
SI cards - the SI units will be SIAC enabled as we are trying out our new equipment. Be prepared to dib in the normal way if the Flyby does not work.
Hire non-SIAC dibbers can be collected from a table next to Download; leave them in the box next to Download after you have Down loaded.
On the Course
Please do not touch the controls more than necessary to dib properly.
Be aware of other competitors and other users. Keep your distance at all times. Give way at controls, be patient.
Finish and Download
After punching at the Finish, please make your way to Download - about 300m from the Finish, towards the Start area. There's no need to rush, just gather your thoughts, think "social distance" and get your breath back. When you get to Download, place your Dibber in the download unit. Take your splits print and move away. Make your way back to your car. Have a safe journey home.
Results
Results will be available via Racesignup and later on the Club website, hopefully by later the same evening; at the latest by Monday evening
Risk
Orienteering is an adventure sport; you are responsible for your own safety at the event and must not do anything that puts yourself or others at unnecessary risk.
