SEOUL Cove Regional Urban (NEW MAP)

The event takes place on a new map of Cove Brook & Pinewood Park nr Farnborough.

This round of the South England Orienteering Urban League (SEOUL) takes place near Farnborough, Hampshire on an area which is 80% new to competitive orienteering. The area comprises high density former local authority housing, other residential areas, and some open spaces alongside the Cove Brook. It is a mostly fast orienteering environment with no significant hills. Courses will be towards the upper end of urban guidelines.

Event Information

Entry
Online entry only at RaceSignUp Entries will stay open up to 12pm on 16th July for EOD. Guaranteed map if entered by 10/7/22. Entries after that are subject to map availability

Parking
Parking will be at Farnborough Football Club. There is a match on that day with a 3pm KO so please vacate the car park promptly after your run.

Starts
All participants must select a 15-minute start block (10 slots available in each block). Starts 10:30-12:00. (Start/Finish within 2 minutes of assembly)

SIAC enabled but punching start/finish will operate.

Course closes at 13:30, entrants are expected to select courses and start times that enable them to finish their course and download before 13:30.

Results
Results will not be on display at the event, but you can access them on the Southern Navigators website after the event.

At the start and during your run please remember to social distance. Please move away from the map box after collecting your map. At control sites do not touch the control, and move through quickly. Do not congregate at the Finish. At Download ensure you are drip and spittle free before downloading.
