You must not attend if you or a member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms or if you are required to self isolate.

You must adhere to the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

Event centre
The event centre is at the Railway Tavern, 401 Southend Lane, Lower Sydenham SE26 5BH w3w drill.stop.ladder.

The proprietor does not normally serve food but is kindly willing to offer us a Turkish Mezze buffet for those booking it in advance only to enable us to have our usual apres-O.

There is a large room available to leave clothing on an at your own risk basis, toilets to change and drinks.

The start and finish are approximately 1.5k from the event centre.

Look for the tall blue DFOK sail banner not far from the north western entrance to Beckenham Place Park

Shorts are permitted although are not advisable as there are a few areas of undergrowth which will be encountered on the courses.

If you are not hiring a SI card, you can choose to go directly to the start, where kit can be left at your liability. The start is easily accessible from Beckenham Hill station by entering the park off Beckenham Hill Road where you will pick up the red and white tapes marking the route from the Event Centre. The start is at w3w social.game.nods. The finish is close to the start and all kit left at the start will be moved to the finish when the start is taken down. YOU MUST GO TO THE EVENT CENTRE AFTER YOUR RUN TO DOWNLOAD

Entry fees
There are two Senior and Junior fees noted above. The lower one is for members of British Orienteering. You do not have to be a member to participate and we welcome newcomers.

If you are a newcomer and would like to know more about the event, please email the Organiser. We will send you two short videos so that you know what to expect and how to enjoy the event.

Electronic punching
Electronic punching will be used and the controls will be activated for contactless punching. Hired dibbers will be in individual envelopes for collection at Enquiries. Everyone must punch at the start and finish as these are not set up for contactless recording.

Control descriptions
Control descriptions are printed on the map. For those who prefer to also have loose control descriptions to save opening and refolding the map, loose control descriptions will be available in the start lane.

Finish and Download
It is a punching finish.

Courses closes promptly at 20:30. Please arrive in good time to enable you to complete your run by this time.

After finishing, please proceed directly to Download at the Railway Tavern, Lower Sydenham. Your splits print out will be handed to you. Hired SI dibbers should then be deposited in a pink container nearby.

Results will not be on display at the event but we hope to be providing a QR code link to live results at the event. They will also be on the DFOK website www.dfok.co.uk after the event.

Refund policy
If you have entered but are unable to attend the event, if you contact the Organiser by email no later than 9pm on the day before the event, a full credit for a future DFOK event will be given or a refund of your entry fee minus the small entry system provider charges.
