Brutal Trail 5k @ Hogmoor

The idea behind this event is for a scaled back version of our usual events. It provides an opportunity for a tough trail run on a summer evening to get you out and about or use as a training run. We will have one 5k route suitable for all abilities. It is like a purpose built Brutal playground formed by use by the Army in years gone by and more recently has been a recreational area for public use.
The area has short sandy hills, areas of mud and shallow water to keep you interested. There is also a playground on site to either keep the kids entertained before the event or to get them warmed up ready to run!
To keep the entry cost down and reduce waste from previous events we will be recycling unused medals and race numbers. Take your choice of medal at the end!
Parking is free at the venue and refreshments will be available on site. We are also offering a family ticket option for families who want to run together (2 adults and up to 3 children from the same household).
*The canicross option has been removed from this event due to the heat*

This ticket gives you entries for 2 adults and up to 3 kids from the same family to run the course.

Juniors are under 16 on race day.
Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult

Event Withdrawl
If you find you are no longer able to attend the event then you can withdraw your entry up until 1400 on the Monday prior to the event. This is done via the online entry page selecting the option to amend your entry and then selecting the button to withdraw. Your account will be automatically credited with the entry amount for you to use at another Brutal event (it will not be refunded). If you plan to withdraw please do so in good time in case you encounter any issues so you don't miss the deadline.
