Transferring your place to someone else
We don't operate a waiting list, but transfers will be accepted up until Wednesday 4th January. If you find you can no longer run, there is a FB page set up to allow you to advertise your place: https://www.facebook.com/groups/834090974443629.
How to transfer your entry to someone else:

1. Login to Racesignup
2. Against your entry tap Transfer
3. Provide the email address of the person who is taking your place
4. They will get an email with instructions on how to take up their place. You will get a copy of that email.

Please note that you are responsible for any transaction between you and the person taking your place.

Parking
Limited Parking available for runners at Crofton Secondary School; Meoncross School and Baycroft School.

Facilities
Refreshments, information, limited bag storage, children's fun run all located at race HQ

The Route

• There is a new route for 2023 due to the opening of the Stubbington Bypass. Both the race start and finish will now be in Stubbington Village.
• The route will head out towards Crofton School on a closed road before moving onto a wide smooth path pavement which is running alongside HMS Daedalus.
• At the Peel Common roundabout bear right towards Cemast College and turning right onto Daedalus Drive which is open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
• Crossing over a closed road at Marine Parade West and heading down Crofton Avenue before heading left onto Salterns Road which is traffic free.
• At the end of this coastal road the route will continue on a closed road along Hill Head Road all the way down to Knightsbank Road.
• The run continues on Knightsbank Road before turning into Old street, both of these wide residential roads are open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
• At the end of Old Street turn left back onto the Hill Head Road and at the T Junction turn left into Crofton Lane this road remains closed until you reach the roundabout.
• Continue on Crofton Lane which merges into Bells Lane. This part of the route is open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
• At the T-junction turn left into Stubbington Lane. This section of Stubbington Lane will be closed to traffic.
• Finally turn left at the roundabout into Stubbington Village and complete a loop of Stubbington Village to the finish line.

Race Memento
We recognise that our long sleeved T shirts have been a popular memento of our race over the last few years. However, whilst we want to ensure that our participants are rewarded, we are also aware that we have a responsibility to reduce our environmental impact. We will therefore be replacing our T shirts again this year with a locally sourced product (at the time of writing yet to be finalised), as a thank you for your entry.

Age Requirement
In accordance with UKA Rules you must be aged 15 or more on the day of the race.
