Wordwell Regional event

Regional orienteering event
Our second regional event of the Autumn will be King's Forest, this time in the section known as Wordwell, which includes the earlier "King's Forest NE" plus more recent mapping which extends the area further south. There will be the full range of courses, from White to Brown, so something to suit all abilities.

Entry Fees
        Senior member: £9.00
        Senior non-member: £11.00
        Senior Novice: £4.00
        Junior: £4.00
        Standard Chip hire: £1.00 (replacement cost of £35 if not returned)
        SIAC Chip hire: £2.00 (subject to availability) (replacement cost of £65 if not returned)

Seniors entering the White or Yellow course will be charged the Novice fee.

If you are entering as a group please enter with the name of one adult and add the names of the other group members in the space provided and you will be charged the senior entry fee.

You can opt to purchase an extra map for the course you have entered for £1.00.
Event Information

Directions
Parking will be reached from Fire Road 210 heading east off the B1106 between Culford & Elveden, 2.5 miles south of A11 junction. Access to the Fire Road will be sign-posted from the B1106. Please follow the signs when you are on the Fire Road.

Map
The map includes a recently updated section of what was previously called “Kings NE” plus a newly-mapped section to the south. The map scale is 1:10,000, with 5m contours, incorporates ISOM 17-2 symbols, and will be printed on waterproof paper.
Contactless punching via SIAC will be enabled.

There will be limited entry on day subject to map availability.

Facilities
Registration, Help Point & Download tents will be sited next to the Fire Road, together with a toilet.
Hired SI cards will be available for collection at Registration (open from 10:00 to 12:00).
If you need advice or help with reading the map, how to use the timing system. etc, please ask at the Help Point.
Dogs are allowed, but should be kept on a short lead, both on and off the courses.
