Series of 10 events run jointly by SOS and HAVOC. Two courses available - long or short
Map OOM V3 urban Scale 1:10,000 or larger. Controls are normally Fire Hydrant Signs, or other street furniture. Some events will be MapRun enabled.

Timing
Start at times between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Competitors must report to the finish by 8.45pm.

Open Orienteering style map scale 1:10000 or larger
Controls are normally Fire Hydrant Signs, or other street furniture. Write down the lower number, or other information as indicated on map. Please bring a pen or pencil to mark the control card Some events will be MapRun enabled, so won't require physical writing of control information.
The course is on roads, pavements, footpaths and parkland. Please wear suitable footwear.
Newcomers welcome. Help and guidance available.

Facilities
We will nominate a venue for post-race refreshments and analysis

Safety
Participation is at your own risk. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Bring clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions. As with any urban orienteering this requires participants to cross roads and you are asked to take due care and attention at all times. You must carry a torch - headtorch or hand held torch High visibility clothing is strongly recommended. There may be dog walkers, cyclists or residents on pavements and footpaths – be aware and give them priority.
