WRNL - 6 Swanage

Saturday 3rd December

60 minute score
This is the sixth event in the Wessex Region Night League for 2022/23. Event centre is the Red Lion pub with food and drink available (see link above). The course is probably going to be an Odds & Evens score using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O kites, whereby the competitor starts on either Odd or Even numbered controls and then at some point on the course chooses when to switch to the other group. Only one switch is allowed (but not mandatory), so choose carefully if and when you want to switch.

Course and Score Information
You have 60 minutes from the Start to Finish via as many controls as you can.
You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute – or part minute over the hour.
Points per control may vary from 10 to 50 points at some events, so check your map and plan your route before you start.
Odds and Evens For this event please consider that the controls have been split into 2 groups - Odds and Evens. You can start with whichever group you prefer but at some point of your choosing, you can (but don't have to) switch to collecting controls in the the other group. Only one switch will count, so any controls from the other group will not count before or after your chosen switch point. If you happen to accidentally / unintentionally punch an extra control from the wrong group, don't panic or despair, just carry on as if it hadn't happened and explain which group switch you want to count when you get to download. You can punch any control more than once but it will only count when it's part of the correct group.
