Safety
All competitors must wear hi-viz tops & have sufficient lights to complete their course. Please take care when crossing any road - particularly on the busy roads to the South and East of the area which are marked on the map in a darker colour. All juniors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Risk
Orienteering is an adventure sport; you are responsible for your own safety at the event and must not do anything that puts yourself or others at unnecessary risk.

Timing System
EMIT touch free. Cost of eTag hire is included in the entry fee.

Map/Terrain
1:4,000 on A3 waterproof paper, 5m contours. Mainly housing estates with some parkland & forest. Roughly 1/3rd forest and 2/3rds urban. Larger forest tracks are gravelled. There are areas of marsh and stream crossings in the forest, as well as a steep gully which can be difficult to cross when wet - routes can be found to avoid all of these.

Course
1 hour Odds & Evens score event. For Odds & Evens, start on either the odd or the even numbers, then change over to the other set whenever you choose - BUT once you have changed over, you cannot go back to the first set of numbers. Punching start in the field behind the pub car park. Collect eTag from the pub & go. The course uses touch free EMIT. Everyone must report to Download in the pub afterwards.

Social Distancing
COVID has still not gone away. Please respect anyone's wish for Social Distancing.

Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct (revised August 2021).

Dogs
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Results
