Event Information

COVID-19
Whilst restrictions have been lifted, Covid-19 is very much still in circulation and we encourage a continued responsible approach to orienteering events. People have different risk tolerances and we like to be mindful of, and to respect, others' personal choices as normality returns.
Please do not attend if you or a member of your household has Covid-19 symptoms, if you have been asked to isolate by NHS Test and Trace, or if you are required to quarantine having been on holiday.

Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct (revised August 2021).

Car parking
The car parking is at Applegarth (post code GU26 6JL), on the north side of the B3002 a little west of Grayshott on the way towards Headley Down. What3words: ///cookbooks.rotate.goal. It is a 1km level walk from the car park to Assembly.

There is some space to park nearer to Assembly than the main car park. If you have a need to park closer to Assembly because of ageing limbs or youngsters who cannot manage the walk please email the Organiser to reserve a space (subject to availability).

Dogs
Dogs allowed under control in the car park and Assembly area but not on the courses please.

Facilities at Assembly
Toilets.
Tom's food wagon (and a bag dump so you can bring your money from the car park).
First Aid.

Medical conditions
Competitors take part at their own risk. If you have an existing Medical Condition of which the Organisers should be aware, please complete a Medical Form which can be downloaded from the British Orienteering website and hand in at Download/Enquiries in a sealed envelope marked with your name and "Confidential Medical Form for GO 05/02/23 event only". This will be opened only if you require medical treatment and are not conscious. It will be destroyed at the end of the event.

Refund Policy
Until 3 February, if you withdraw your entry you will get an automatic credit (in your Racesignup account) for the full value of your entry fee. If you request a refund we deduct the card processing fee.

To withdraw your entry after 3 February, please contact the Organiser. We may need to deduct some costs already incurred.

This event is currently permitted under the BOF Covid-19 guidance. If for some reason this changes we will do our utmost to postpone to a date within the following weeks; if you inform us that you are unable to attend on that date you will get a credit for the full value you have paid against a future GO event, or you can request a refund. If we cannot hold the event on a postponed date and we have to cancel you will also get a credit for the full value you have paid against a future GO event, or you can request a refund.
