Epsom Downs
Round 4 of the GLOSS on an updated map by Philip Gristwood on an area of historic significance offering stunning views over the North Downs and London

GLOSS (Light Green) 4.3km 95m climb
If you enter the GLOSS course, you can still decide on the day whether you want to run the extension or not.
Entry limit: 68
GLOSS plus Extension 7.3km 155m climb
At the end of the GLOSS course, there is a finish control for those who want to finish and an adjacent control for those who want to run the extension. The GLOSS and extension are double sided maps, so you do not have to decide in advance.

SI card hire: £1.00
Juniors are under 16 on 31st December.
Very limited entry on the day (£8 for seniors, £4 for juniors - payment by card only) subject to map availability.

Public Transport
Nearest rail station is Tattenham Corner - approx. 500 metres away.
Epsom station has more frequent trains and can be accessed via bus.
Parking
Free parking is available at the 7 Furlong Car Park (adjacent to registration/start). The map above shows the point where the road entrance to the racecourse is accessed.

Download, Enquiries, Start and Finish are adjacent to the 7 Furlong Car Parking.

Loose control descriptions will be available in the start lanes.
Starts
15 minute blocks between 10.00 and noon. Courses close at 2pm.
The time blocks are for indication only and you can start whenever suits you, subject to queuing at the Start.
Safety
Full leg cover is mandatory for the GLOSS and Extension courses as ticks are present.
Whistles may be compulsory in inclement weather.

OOB etc
Please respect out-of-bounds areas and only cross the race course at the designated path crossings.
Please respect other users of the area and please slow down for horses.
Dogs
Welcome if kept under control and on a short leash - please be aware of horses that use the Downs.
