Brutal Evening 5k @ Bens Green

Bens Green is a working farm in the heart of the rolling Hampshire countryside near Froxfield. We are very excited about this brand new venue, never used for running events before. The start/finish and car parking is all in one field at the highest point of the route. The 5km loop is brilliant and has everything you have come to expect from a Brutal event. There are long easier hills and there are some shorter ridiculously steep sections too, where 3 points of contact will definitely be required. There is water, mud and some old sections of 4x4 trail to keep things interesting. The route also has some wonderful variety with trails in mature tall beech trees, a section along an ancient chalky byway, grassy fields and even a short amount of tarmac. And if after the race you fancy some old fashioned sports hydration the very nice Trooper Inn is less than 800m from the finish.

This is a scaled back version of our usual events. To keep the entry cost down there will be no medals for the summer series events although you will still receive chip timing. Parking is free at the venue. We are also offering a family ticket option for families who want to run together (2 adults and up to 3 children from the same household).
