This round of the South England Orienteering Urban League (SEOUL) takes place near Farnborough, Hampshire. The area comprises high density former local authority housing, other residential areas, and some open spaces alongside the Cove Brook, all offering good route choice and requiring fast thinking. There is no significant climb. Courses will be towards the upper end of urban guidelines.

Event Information

Travel
Please take into account that the M3 is due to be closed in both directions on the weekend of 17th / 18th June between junctions 6 and 4A

Entry
Online entry only. Entries will stay open up to 12pm on 18th June for EOD. Guaranteed map if entered by 11th June. Entries after that are subject to map availability.

Parking
Parking is free and will be at Farnborough Football Club. Please enter the car park via the Cherrywood Road entrance

Starts
All participants must select a 15-minute start block (10 slots available in each block).

Adult course starts 10:30-12:00. (Start/Finish within 2 minutes of assembly)
Junior course starts 10:30-11:30

SIAC enabled but punching start/finish will operate.

Control descriptions will be available in the start lanes.

Course closes at 13:30, entrants are expected to select courses and start times that enable them to finish their course and download before 13:30.

The map is 1:4000 scale with 2.5m contours

Course Information
Cove Brook should not be crossed other than at bridges. The bottom is deep mud in places.

Please observe the out of bounds and uncrossable boundaries so that we will be welcomed back to the area.

There is 1 road crossing on the M/W12 course. It will be marshalled in both directions. Please listen to the marshals!

Results
Results will not be on display at the event, but you can access them on the Southern Navigators website after the event.
