Berkshire Orienteers (BKO) invites you to an Urban orienteering event in Lower Early, near Reading on Saturday the 10th June 2023. Beginners and families welcome. No need to bring anything we will help you get started.
Lower Earley is a modern housing estate built in the 1980s-1990s. It consists of many quiet cul-de-sacs, featuring many small parks and woods with numerous footpaths linking the different areas. The western part of Lower Earley is on a slope which drops away towards the South - competitors on the longer courses will notice the height change!
Parking on Chalfont Car Park. Nearest Postcode: RG6 5HQ. What3words ///blocks.ahead.mile. Park on nearby public car parks (e.g. ASDA) if Chalfont Car Park is full.

We offer the choice of three courses.
Short about 2km,
Medium about 4km
Long about 6km.
All courses will have unmanned road crossings. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult.
Start anytime you like between 10:30-11:30. Courses close at 13:00.

Senior Chip hire: £1.50
Junior: £2.50/£3.50
Junior Chip hire: £0.00
Juniors are under 19 on 31st December. BOF members get £1 discount from entry fees. EMIT cards are £1.50 to hire for seniors and free to juniors. Please take care of them as we must charge £50 for any lost card.
