Summer Evening Series - Race 6 - Hell Wath, Ripon

The sixth and final event in a series of evening orienteering events in lovely local woods and parks .
Small events with a big heart.
Claro Orienteers invite you to the last of our Summer evening events in Hell Wath near Ripon. Hell Wath is a beautiful woodland on the banks of the River Skell. At one time it was the site of Ripon Race Course and an army camp. Today it is maintained as a nature reserve.
There will be a coaching session before the event from 1720, free to competitors.
Registration opens at 1745 with start times from 1800 to 1845.

Long Experienced
A longer course with physical and navigational challenges for more experienced orienteers who would like a longer distance.

A shorter, less physical course, suitable for more experienced orienteers with more navigational challenges.

A longer easier course, mainly on paths but using some other line features such as walls or fences. Suitable for older beginners and experienced runners who would like the extra distance.

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December. Please note if hiring a dibber a fee of £30 will be charged for lost dibbers.

These will be posted on the Claro website www.claro-orienteering.org.uk. When entering our events your name may appear in the results section of this website or in newspaper reports.
