Nuns Cross, nr Princetown, Dartmoor

This is the first of our Devon League colour coded event for the season and it's at Nuns Cross. This grass covered, open moorland has sweeping hills with streams running down cuttings with low, steep-sided banks in place. If you are new to orienteering we recommend the novice courses (see flyer) as Nun's Cross is a challenging area of Dartmoor requiring appropriate care and can become quite exposed in poor weather.
Parking is at Princetown County Primary School as there is no parking near the Start and Finish. A minibus service is going to shuttle competitors to and from the competition area. Please read the full flyer on the Devon website - devonorienteering.co.uk to check these travel arrangements in order to allow enough time to arrive at your start-time slot.
