Woosehill - Summer Parks Event - Wokingham

Saturday 19th August

Join us for BKOs first event using the SI timing system on a brand new area for orienteering, Woosehill, Wokingham. The terrain is urban with some woodland. Beginners and families very welcome. No need to bring anything we will help you get started.

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December.

Non British Orienteering members pay a supplement on entry fees (£1 for seniors, 50p for juniors). SIAC dibbers are £2.00 to hire for seniors and free to juniors. Please take care of them as we must charge £72 for any lost dibber.
Event Information

Parking is in Chestnut Park. Entrance is via Ruskin Way.
Nearest PostCode: RG41 3PB.
There is additional parking by the adjacent Day Nursery for large vehicles

Electronic Timing: The event uses the SI timing system. Contactless punching will be enabled except for a punching Start and Finish.

Event times:
Hired SIAC dibber collection 10:00 - 11:25 am
Starts: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Course close at 13:00.
All participants must download by course closure time; even if you do not finish the course.

Water: Please bring your own water to drink after competing - especially if the weather is hot. We will not be supplying water at the finish.

Please note that smoking or vaping is not allowed at the event.

Dress:
This event takes place in an urban area, therefore, shots and vests are permitted.
