Guidance for beginners available from the Enquiries point.

Safety notes
Brown, blue and green courses have a road crossing which will be timed out but not marshalled. Please take care. Do not cross at any other point. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) on these courses.
The wood is open to the public and you may meet walkers, dogs, mountain bikers and horses. Please give plenty of room when passing.
Please ensure that your clothing and footwear is appropriate for the time of year, terrain and anticipated weather conditions. Full leg cover is advised.
Entry into this event is at your own risk.

First Aid
First aid point will be at event centre.
If you have a medical condition that first aiders might need to know about in the event of an incident please download, print, and complete a medical form. Place it in a sealed envelope with your name clearly on the outside. Hand this to Enquiries/First Aid point in the assembly area. It will be kept for the duration of the event; to be collected unopened or destroyed at the end of the event. Forms can be downloaded using the following link: http://www.stragglers.info/resources/orgmedicalform.pdf

Dog restrictions
Sorry, strictly no dogs. This is a condition of hire of event centre and use of parking. Failure to comply will risk future use of the facilities.
There is no practical alternative parking for those with dogs as surrounding roads are too narrow. The route back from finish for brown, blue and green courses crosses the scout area from which dogs are excluded.
