SoSOL at Corstorphine Hill
Incorporating both the East of Scotland and ESOC Club Championships
The closing date for online entries is 8pm on Friday 17th November, however as we will need to order the maps in good time the following conditions apply
- online entries received by Tuesday 14th November @ 2pm will be guaranteed a map for your chosen course
- online entries will be accepted up to 8pm on Friday 17th November, assuming maps are still available
- Entry on the day (EOD) will be accepted at registration (from 10:45-12:45pm) on the day of the event assuming maps are still available. Payment by cash, bank transfer or card payment.

There will be no allocated Start times, just arrive anytime within the 15 minute start block you have selected.
We will be ordering extra maps so hopefully everyone will get a run even if you can only decide on the day that you can make it.
From Tuesday 14th November the courses box below will automatically update with the number of maps left.
For this Regional event, unlike our Local events, we are only taking entries from individuals. Please check the event webpage for details of which course to enter to be eligible for ESOA and ESOC trophies.
Individual juniors may be shadowed, please make this clear in the comments

Green 4.7km 250m climb
Technical course shorter than Blue
Short Green 2.5km 105m climb
Shortest technical course
Light Green 3.6km 180m climb
Easier technical course than Short Green
Orange 2.5km 120m climb
Basic use of compass and route choice required
Yellow 2.0km 80m climb
Uses simple linear features like paths, walls and streams.
White 1.4km 45m climb
Very easy course with all controls on paths

Juniors are under 21 on 31st December. - £2 surcharge for non-members of an orienteering club
- Students will be charged the Junior fee if they tick the Are you a Student? box on the entry form.
Dibber Hire
- SI dibbers are available to hire free of charge but there is a £30 charge if lost.
- SIAC (Touch Free) dibbers cost £2.50 to hire and there is a £60 charge if lost.
