Orienteering Edinburgh: Lunchtime 'Try it' Series

On the entry form you will have to create a RACESIGNUP account and then you will be able to enter either of the 2 courses on offer on any of the 4 dates above. You can repeat the entry process multiple times (for other runners or other dates) before paying for all the entries together. You can revisit this site at a later date to enter future events.

If you'd like to run with a friend you can enter as a pair for the same fee. Just enter the second name in the box provided on the entry form.

You will receive a confirmation email from SOA (Scottish Orienteering Association), the organisation staging the four events in the series.

Once the first entry has been accepted, an entry list will appear at the bottom of this page.

Full details are on the event webpage. Please read these before you enter and again on the day of an event to check for updates, in case the weather has affected the event.. On the day of the event, turn up at Festival Square any time between 12-1:30pm, preferably before 1pm if it's your first time.

For regular orienteers – remember that some parts of Edinburgh are embargoed because of the World Orienteering Championships next year. Check out the embargoed areas and avoid them. The area for these events is adjacent to one of the areas but you have no need to go into the embargoed areas to take part in these events
