Directions
The event centre will be at Hound Parish Hall, Woolston Road, Butlocks Heath, SO31 5FR. There is limited parking near the hall, so please car-share where possible. The hall is 15 minutes walk from Netley Station and is on the Bluestar No. 15 bus route.

No muddy shoes inside the event centre please.

1:5,000 on A3 waterproof paper, 5m contours. Mainly housing estates with some parkland & forest.

Course
1 hour straight score event, as per Wessex Night League guidelines. Collect eTag from the hall & go. Start will be near the front of the hall. Touch free EMIT will be used on all courses. Everyone must report to Download in the hall afterwards.

Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct.

Timing
Registration: 17:45 to 18:45.
Starts: 18:00 to 19:00.
Courses close: promptly at 20:00 please.

Facilities
Toilets and tea/coffee making facilities available in the event centre until approx 21:00. The Cottage Inn is directly opposite for food https://www.thecottageinnnetley.co.uk/

If you want to eat at the pub, booking is essential. The pub also provides Chicago Town pizzas to takeaway that you're welcome to eat in the event centre. These can be cooked 6 at a time in their pizza oven, so it will help them if you order in groups.

Please note that alcohol is not allowed in the hall.

Safety
All competitors must wear hi-viz tops and have sufficient lights to complete their course. Please take care when crossing any road particularly on the busy roads which are marked on the map in a darker colour. All juniors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on the courses, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the event centre.
