Juniors are under 21 on 31st December. Fee includes Senior Chip Hire charge for use of Touch Free, hire of controls and result processing by EMIT UK. Lost eTags will be charged at £45.
Location and parking
The event centre will be at The Gregg School, Townhill Park House, Cutbush Lane, Southampton SO18 2GF, Grid Reference SU 45311 15043, What3Words amuse.ample.caves
Travel
Please car share wherever possible. You can sign up to the Car Sharing scheme - login to the event on Racesignup to join.
Facilities
Toilets are available within the event centre, and an optional hot meal of vegetarian chilli will be provided (at a supplement of £4.00).
The event includes prizegiving for the 23/24 Wessex Region Night League season.
Timing
Registration: 17:45 to 18:45.
Starts: 18:15 to 19:15.
Courses close: promptly at 20:15 please.
Safety
All competitors must wear hi-viz tops and have sufficient lights to complete their course. Please take care when crossing any road. All juniors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Map/Terrain
The map is 1:4000 with 5m contours on A3 waterproof paper. The majority of the area is urban with some wooded areas that may be muddy.
Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct (revised August 2021).
Dogs
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Results
The results will be posted on the SOC website as soon as possible after the event.
