STOP PRESS: In response to the very, very late flurry of entries after the maps had already arrived from Inverness, we can offer 5 places on each course using non-waterproof paper maps. Please get in touch with eventadmin@esoc.org.uk) if you would like to take up one of these places, so we can reserve a map for you. Please give your name, age class, club and membership number, dibber number (or hire) please.

You will be able to collect your map at registration (and a poly pocket if you forget your map bag) when you arrive to pay the fee (as stated below).
The closing date for online entries is Friday 12th April at 8pm however as we will need to order the maps in good time the following conditions apply
- online entries received by Tuesday 9th April @ 2pm will be guaranteed a map for your chosen course.
- online entries will be accepted up to 8pm on Friday 12th April assuming maps are still available
- Entry on the day (EOD) will be accepted at registration (from 12:45-14:15pm) on the day of the event assuming maps are still available. Payment by cash, bank transfer or card

We will be ordering extra maps but there is no guarantee of a run on your chosen course, if you leave it late to enter.

This entry system has been redesigned for 2024 but still allows for individual entries, pairs and groups (who wish to go round a course together). The scale of fees has also changed to cope with the increased contribution to the Public Liability cover required by British Orienteering.

Please read the Event Information below for help with using this system.

Once the first entry has been accepted, a Start List will appear at the bottom of this page, and the Courses box will update (from 3pm on Tuesday 9th April) to indicate the number of maps remaining (will be correct up to 8pm on Friday 12th April).

Full details are on the event webpage including an explanation of the Colour Coded courses. Please read these before you enter and again before the day to check for updates, especially on Friday evening in case the weather has affected the event. If not just turn up at the Start any time within the 15 minute start block you have selected and are listed below.

Entry Help
If you want to run on your own with your own map and SI dibber (timing device) please enter as an Individual.

To enter as a pair who will share a map and timing device enter the name of the second person on the form in the Group/Pairs name box. For a pair of juniors ensure the lead person on the entry form is a Junior.

If you want to enter as a group (up to 2 adults and 3 juniors) to go round a course together sharing a map and SI Dibber (timing device), provide the details of one adult as normal and, at the bottom of the form, select the number of additional people that make up the group. You can enter the name for the group on the form in the Group/Pairs name box eg The Smith Family.

Larger groups should enter as 2 groups (in 2 separate entries).

You only need to pay once you have entered all the pairs, groups or individuals you want.

The fees for individuals, pairs and groups are listed on the relevant webpage on the ESOC website and include surcharges for those who are not members of an orienteering club or, if they are members of an orienteering club, are not members of BOF.
