There are two courses.
The Summer League course is a 60 minute Score course which uses Potterne Park, Verwood and the edge of Moors Valley Country Park.
The 60 minute Short Score course is a 60 minute Score course which stays within the park and follows a pavement along the edge of a road.
Location: Potterne Park, Verwood, Dorset. BH21 6RS. Access is via the Three Legged Cross to Verwood Road.
Terrain: Potterne Park is a typical grassy park with cricket and football pitches. Areas of Moors Valley are on gravel and tarmac footpaths, and some grassy areas. Verwood South is your typical housing estate areas with a 30mph road running through the area – please take care if crossing.
Parking:There is ample parking on beside the playing fields.
Starts are from 14.00-16.00. Courses close at 17.00. Help with control collection would be much appreciated.

• The Short Score course, suitable for Families, Novices & younger juniors, is a 60 minute Score course which stays within the park and follows a pavement along the edge of a road.
You have 60 minutes to go from the start to finish via as many controls as possible. You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute (or part minute) late back. Points per control vary from 10 to 30. Bonus points (10 per minute under the hour) are available but ONLY if you manage to visit every control.
Food & facilities: It is hoped to make this a social event, so bring your own food and drink as large grassy area for seating. There are food shops located in Verwood (at least a 20 min walk away).
Toilets located at the side of the pavilion, open until 6pm.
