Three courses are available:
Long 5.8 km straight line, 8.2k optimal.
Medium 4km straight line 5.4k optimal
short 2.4km straight line, 2.5k optimal.
Long and medium courses will access the busy town centre as well as suburbs. They are suitable for all abilities but please ask for advice if you are new to orienteering. The short course does not cross significant roads or encounter busy traffic and is suitable for unaccompanied under 16s.
Assembly Area: The assembly area is very close to the Start and the Finish on the Brocas in Eton.

Travel: The event asembly is close to Windsor town centre and is easily accessible by public transport, and less than 15 min walk from the towns railway stations.
Toilets: No toilets at assembly but they are available in Windsor town centre including Romney Lock & River street car park as well as the railway stations.
Parking: We recommend parking in one of the car parks in Windsor and walking over Eton Bridge to the assembly area.
We suggest that you don't try parking in Eton itself - Parking is very limited and its a 10-15 min to drive to Windsor car parks if you cannot find anywhere suitable.
Electronic Timing: The event uses the SI Dibber (Chip) timing system. Contactless punching will be enabled except for a punching Start and Finish.

Starts: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Course close at 13:00
All participants must download by course closure time; even if you do not finish the course.

Toilets: there will be no toilets provided at the event
Water: Please bring your own water to drink after competing - especially if the weather is hot. We will not be supplying water at the finish.
