The Stubbington 10K is known for its picturesque landscape, fast course and being one of the biggest and best races of its kind that the south coast has to offer.
The much loved Stubbington 10k long sleeve tshirt will be back in 2026.
The run begins in the heart of the Stubbington village, before taking you on a loop of Solent airfield and scenic coastal roads.
The course is flat with a sprinkling of gentle inclines, with some closed roads (subject to council approval) and plenty of support along the way. We are proud of being a friendly club and our volunteers look forward to welcoming you to the warmest winter 10k.

Withdrawing from the event
If you need to give up your place you can withdraw from the event, freeing up your place for the next person on the waiting list or transfer your place to someone else (see below). Withdrawals will be accepted up to and including the Monday before the event

Transferring your place to someone else
Transfers will be accepted up until and including the Monday before the event. If you find you can no longer run, there is a FB page set up to allow you to advertise your place: www.facebook.com/groups/834090974443629.
How to transfer your entry to someone else:
- Login to Racesignup
- Against your entry tap Transfer
- Provide the email address of the person who is taking your place
- They will get an email with instructions on how to take up their place.
Parking
Limited Parking available for runners at Crofton Secondary School; Meoncross School, Crofton Anne Dale, Crofton Hammond and Baycroft School.

The Route
- The race start and finish will be in Stubbington Village.
- The route will head out towards Crofton School on a closed road before moving onto a wide smooth path pavement which is running alongside HMS Daedalus.
- At the Peel Common roundabout bear right towards Cemast College and turning right onto Daedalus Drive which is open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
- Crossing over a closed road at Marine Parade West and heading down Crofton Avenue before heading left onto Salterns Road which is traffic free.
- At the end of this coastal road the route will continue on a closed road along Hill Head Road all the way down to Knightsbank Road.
- The run continues on Knightsbank Road before turning into Old street, both of these wide residential roads are open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
- At the end of Old Street turn left back onto the Hill Head Road and at the T Junction turn left into Crofton Lane this road remains closed until you reach the roundabout.
- Continue on Crofton Lane which merges into Bells Lane. This part of the route is open to 2-way traffic (please take care).
- At the T-junction turn left into Stubbington Lane. This section of Stubbington Lane will be closed to traffic.
- Finally turn left at the roundabout into Stubbington Village and complete a loop of Stubbington Village to the finish line.

In accordance with UKA Rules you must be aged 15 or more on the day of the race.
