Berkshire Orienteers welcome you to the Southern Night Orienteering Championship 2024 at Star Posts near Bracknell

All orienteers 16 years and older are welcome to our event. Under 16s can run together with a responsible adult only.

To be eligible for Championship trophies you must have entered the class matching your age and sex, or 'run up'. If running up you must state in which age class you plan to be competitive. Eligibility also requires that you are a member of British Orienteering and a member of one of its southern regional associations: SCOA, SEOA or SWOA.

Non Championship runners can select any of the colour coded courses available.

- this is night-time orienteering, so you'll need to see and be seen and heard when needed.
- All entrants will need to be equipped with a functioning headtorch and whistle.
- There are other users of the forest space, most notably a lot of keen and fast mountain-bikers. The courses have been planned with likely MTB activity identified. Entrants need to avoid running along certain trails and to keep out (OOB) of a small number of sections of the forest to minimise MTB contact.
