The Wessex Night League 2024 Event 9

A standard 60 minute score event using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O-kites
Hot food is available to pre-order at the British Legion (beef chilli/veggie chilli) but no food orders will be accepted after Thursday 16th Jan.

Terrain: Urban
Format: The course is a straight 60-minute score course using SIAC enabled SI control stations on small O kites.
Course and score information: You have 60 minutes to go from the start to the finish via as many controls as possible. You gain points for each control visited but you lose 10 points per minute – or part minute late back. Points per control may vary from 10 to 50. Bonus points (5 per minute under the hour) are available but ONLY if you manage to visit every control.

Location: British Legion, West Borough, Wimborne, BH21 1LT
Parking: The closest car park is Westfield Close car park, BH21 1ES which is free after 18:00. Exit the car park to the east onto Redcotts Lane, turn left and the British Legion is on your right

Safety
Safety: Hi-viz clothing/ vests, backup light and whistles are mandatory. Under 16s must be always accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on their course. Competitors are responsible for their own safety at all times and should be aware of fast-moving traffic on the course. If you have a medical condition, please write it on a piece of paper and leave in a sealed envelope with the organiser; uncollected envelopes will be destroyed after the event.

Food
Post-event food: : the British Legion is offering either a beef or veggie chilli (which is also gluten-free) served with rice, chips, pitta bread & garnish for £6. Food must be pre-ordered via RaceSignUp by no later than Thursday 16th January.
