The event centre will be at The Cleveland Bay Pub, SO53 4ST.

Food is available in the pub. Typical pub menu.
Timing system
EMIT Touchfree. eTags will be available at registration. Hire cost is included in your entry fee.
Times
Registration: 17:30 to 18:45.
Starts: 18:00 to 19:00.
Course
60 Minute Score Event. Control Values totalling 500 points. 30 Controls in total, with values of 10, 20 or 30 points. Penalties for being late, 1 point every 6 seconds.
Map/Terrain
Conventional Urban Orienteering Map, 1:5000 scale.
Suburban housing area, with roads, footpaths, park and wooded areas. Some ground may be soft and slippery.
Safety
Hi Viz tops are required. A good head torch is required. Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Competitors are responsible for their own safety. The roads in this area are generally quiet. Caution and care must be taken when crossing all roads.
Conduct
Please make yourself aware of and abide by the British Orienteering Participant Code of Conduct (revised August 2021).
Dogs
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Results
The results will be posted on the SOC website as soon as possible after the event.
